The Elusive Kylie Lip Kit

As soon as Kylie Jenner's "Lip Kit" came out, I was drawn to it for some reason. Maybe it was the fact that it was hard to get? I'm not even a huge lipstick fan, but with the increasing popularity of the liquid lipstick, I was dying to try it!  Once I heard about her second big release, including 3 new colors, I did my fair share of stalking and ordered it right at noon the day it dropped. I wanted to purchase all 6, well at least 4 out of the 6, but got cold feet and only ordered two, Mary Jo K and Candy K. The sad part is, not being able to see and test the colors before you buy. It's quite the gamble! I still haven't tried on Candy K yet; it was the one I wanted most since the first release, and I'm pretty confident I will like that one. Mary Jo was definitely the gamble for me because I'm not a red lipstick girl (I want to be!), but I figured Valentine's Day would be the perfect time to try it ;)

So on to my review of the Mary Jo K Lip Kit.. First, I LOVE the lip liner. It's so creamy and smooth and glides on easily. I heard you can just use a regular sharpener but to freeze it first so the liner doesn't break off. I haven't tested it out yet since it's new, but that is the main issue I can see there being with the liner. As for the liquid lipstick, I do mostly like it! Not sure if it's the perfect red for me, but it works. It dried quickly once I put it on which was nice, so no red marks on my teeth! It lasted long and didn't come off (just a tad) when I kissed the hubby. I've heard people comment that theirs flaked off, but I had no issue with this. I didn't slather it on my lips though either. My main issue, that I've also read about, is that it leaves your lips feeling dry. I tried putting on some lip balm beforehand, but I need a good lip moisturizer. I also just think that it's pretty typical of a long-lasting lipstick. Hoping I can find the perfect moisturizer to help make the lip kit perfect. All-in-all, I would recommend the lip kit and I look forward to trying out Candy K and maybe adding to my collection!

Western Vibes

I don't know about you, but I love changing things up. I typically lean more towards neutral colors, but other than that, I enjoy trying different trends. Who wants to be the same all the time? Maybe that's not the best for a blogger, most of the time a blogger has a certain look they are going for. People like to follow a blogger that they can relate their style to. I've just been down about the blogging world lately and trying to figure out how I can boost my following. I feel like one of my main problems is I don't have that certain look. For example, someone that follows Southern Curls and Pearls might not be following a blog like We Wore What. And that's okay, but I find myself loving both and wanting to blend both. I guess when I compare myself to other bloggers who began around the same time as me, I'm falling much, much shorter. Anyway, I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but if anyone has any suggestions or ideas or what you want to see more of, please let me know in the comment section below! I appreciate all of the love and support I've received over these past months, I cannot thank you all enough!!!

Now on to my western look ;)! I've always been obsessed with a good Aztec print, and once I found this cardigan, I had to have it! Not only is it warm and comfy, but it also matches the new hat I got for Christmas. Speaking of hats, I'm also obsessing over felt hats right now. A couple of the big hat designers like Eugenia Kim and Janessa Leone are amazing, but the price point is a little steep. I found a new favorite brand called Brixton and I cannot recommend them enough! See the full look and outfit details below :)

eShakti Collab

Has anyone heard of eShakti? If you haven't, I'm so excited to introduce you to this amazing online site! I don't know about you, but as much as I love buying clothing online, it's always a gamble. Even if you know your size, every brand is different. You could end up being in between sizes or completely hating the fit. It's so frustrating when you're excited to receive a package and it ends up being a total flop. On top of the disappointment, you have to go through the return which isn't always free.

Well, you needn't fret anymore, there is a site for you! I'm completely happy with my eShakti experience and I highly recommend trying it out. There is something for everyone. Once you choose the piece you want to buy, you can have it tailored to fit your body. You can enter in your exact measurements! If you don't want to, they also have standard sizes from 0-36. Not only can you find the perfect fit, but you can customize the piece to your liking. For example, if you like a dress, but don't like the length, you can have it altered to any length you want. It's only $7.50!

I took this opportunity to finally order that jumpsuit I've always wanted!! I was so nervous to purchase a jumpsuit, especially online, so I never did. They just don't work with every body type. With eShakti, not only could I have the jumpsuit tailored to fit my body, but I was also able to get rid of the sleeves and get the look I wanted. My jumpsuit is currently sold out, but check out eShakti here and create your own style!
